Our Story
Duke & Marie Lancaster
Duke and Marie Lancaster have been part of the Vineyard movement since 1992. Marie grew up in a Hungarian household, the daughter of an Assembly of God pastor and church planter. Marie says that she knew she never wanted to be married to a pastor and when she met Duke while they were attending Oral Roberts University she was certain he was the last person God would ever call into ministry, so she married him. But just a few years later God used a mission trip to radically impact Duke and he felt God call him to pastor. Together they embraced a call to ministry and missions and never looked back. They have traveled the world doing ministry, planted 3 churches, and were the Senior Pastors of Vineyard Church of Jackson, Mississippi for ten years, stepping down at the end of 2021 to travel itinerantly to equip the saints in Holy Spirit ministry and to encourage and strengthen leaders. They have been married over 40 years and delight in their 4 children and 8 grandchildren.
Our Purpose
This is a really hard and weird time to be in ministry vocationally - change feels like it's swirling around us constantly and the job is more challenging than any of us anticipated it would be. We are here to help you navigate this season of change. This is what God has called us to pour into churches in this unique season:
-
A fresh experience of the Holy Spirit's presence and power. The Spirit of God is the energizing force that can carry us through these hard times, and we believe every church needs catalytic moments of his refreshing presence to keep the tank from getting empty.
-
Clarity on what leadership looks like in this season. Leadership in times of great change is different than other times. We have to be more adaptive and flexible, letting things we have held on to take new forms, and at the same time holding more tightly than ever to the core of our assignment. We want to help you navigate that challenging balance effectively
Testimonials
We were thrilled to host Duke and Marie for a weekend. They taught a prophetic workshop on Saturday afternoon, and then ministered and taught on Sunday morning.
They embody the kindness of the Lord. They made everyone at the workshop feel comfortable and at ease--even people who had no experience with the prophetic.
The Sunday service was beautiful. The combination of Duke's singing at the piano and Marie's fiery revelatory word was powerful.
They left our church more encouraged and with a deeper revelation of Jesus. I highly recommend inviting this couple to your church!

Duke and Marie Lancaster are a gift in the body of Christ. They have a treasure of experience leading in different churches and bringing the kingdom to the nations all over the earth. They are the kind of radical Jesus-followers that are sure to stir things up and release the power of the Spirit everywhere they go.

Duke & Marie were a blessing when they came to Tampa.
On Saturday we held a morning and afternoon session where they taught on the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Duke led us through several exercises where we prophesied over each other using different techniques.
They ministered in our Sunday service through song, the Word, and leading us in Ministry Time. They modeled the prophetic and helped lead people through the 5-step prayer model as we prayed for healing. Several people were either healed or their pain level greatly reduced.
They were an incredible blessing, not only to our congregation but also to us personally.
